A large and attractive 1980s watercolour entitled 'Thistles', portraying an array of thistle blooms and leaves in blue, green and violet tones.  Framed in a pale violet passe-partout and encased in a glass-fronted fram with a narrow chrome surround. 
Torn label on the reverse reveals this painting was exhibited at the Bankside Gallery, London in the 1980's.
In lovely condition, there are a few light marks inside the glass on the purple passe-partout so you may wish to open the painting to clean the glass inside. Ready to hang.
