Stunning antique Bavarian lidded, large, round candy dish in cream with gold decoration by Eschenbach Elfenbeim. And a matching set of 6 small dishes in cream and gold.  These are all in outstanding condition for their age - there is no crazing, nor any chips in evidence throughout the set.  I can only assume these have been stored carefully rather than used.
 
The candy dish has ornate, decorative edging in gold with a beautiful cream and gold striped leaf handle to the lid.
Height (incl lid) is approx 16 cm.  Height without lid is 11 cm
Diameter is approx 17 cm.
 
Although matching perfectly in their design and decoration, the dishes are actually marked with another Bavarian house called Hutschenreuther.  They are exquisite - with softly scalloped, gold decorated edges and measure 11.5 cm in diameter.
