A rustic, wooden, antique candlestick made from a textile mill bobbin and dated around 1913.  This stands 17 cm tall and has metal protective surround to the base and top.  It's in exceptional condition for its age, the wood has some splits in it but this adds to its antique charm and character.
The green, baize base states it comes from the Calder Valley Mill near Manchester.
A piece of history.
