This exquisite set of Carlton Ware in Foxglove design dates from 1939 and comprises a lidded sugar pot and a cream or milk jug with indented leaf plate, all in a pretty shade of green with delicate, overlapping leaves and hand-painted, embossed, pink foxglove blossoms.  
Made in England, the Foxglove range is one of Carlton Ware's Art Deco 'salad ware' styles, mixing cottage charm with whimsical, floral designs.
Condition is excellent on all pieces- no chips, cracks or crazing in evidence. I can only think it's been stored away 
carefully for years.
