A truly magnificent, large, authentic Victorian washbasin and jug in extraordinarily good condition, given that this dates from around 1890.  There are no chips or cracks, just some fading of the pattern inside the basin from (I assume) water.  And some faint crazing on both pieces.
This would make a beautiful and striking display in a bedroom.  It's a very rare and unique vintage piece.  Made by S. F. & Co and the design is Chrysanthemum.
