This lovely silver plated and crystal biscuit barrel by The Alexander Clark Company London Ltd dates from somewhere around 1920's or 1930's.  
It stands about 14 cm high (without handle) and approx 15 cm width and is in excellent vintage condition - apart from a slight tarnish stain on the lid, as shown.
