This is a really beautiful antique oak carver style desk chair in superb condition, with a re-upholstered green velvet seat, intricately carved arms, legs and a back rest inlaid with marquetry.
The oak wood is in lovely condition with a few minor signs of wear, commensurate with age. The velvet seat has a little light staining, as shown, but hardly noticeable. 
This chair is sturdy and stable and would look fabulous in a living or dining room, a study or hallway.
