Tall, dark and handsome pair of large, oak, ladder back dining chairs with rush seats that date from 19th Century.  They have  5 carved ladder back rungs and ornately turned, carved legs and stays. 
Both are in very good, sturdy and stable condition with a few signs of light wear, commensurate with age.  The rush seats are intact, one seat is slightly darker than the other.  And the front three stud bolts are missing from the front edge of one but this doesn't affect stability.
These would make lovely hall chairs or additional dining seats.
