A truly magnificent Italian R. Capodimonte LCS hand-made,  lidded urn with the characteristically ornate, raised decoration of cherubs, latticework detail, gold edging and surrounds.  The lid itself is a work of fine art. This is a very impressive example of Capodimonte and a spectacular object.
Both the urn and lid are in the most immaculate condition. I can find no chips or cracks anywhere, just a little fading to the gold edging in places.
