Dating from the 1950's / 60's period, this is an unusual ornamental jug from the renowned Italian pottery manufacturer Fratelli Fanciullacci. The hand-painted ceramic flowers around the top and base edges are very unique; it also has a split 'V' shaped handle with a small button on top.
This piece is in exceptional condition, given its age. All the decorative flowers are intact and there is just a minor chip to the glaze on the lip, barely visible, and another to the body on the left hand side.
