These cranberry red crystal glasses are exquisitely beautiful and very unusual.  I believe the body is crystal but the low bases are made of glass.  (This was sometimes done to reduce material costs).
The etching detail is intricate and elegant.  
Their shape makes them extremely versatile - they could be low-stemmed wine glasses, used for liqueur or sherry or even small water glasses.  They hold 0.2L and are sturdy, stable and quite weighty.  Easy to hold and very tactile due to their form. They would look magnificent on any dining table or bar.
I cannot date them nor identify the brand but believe they originate from the mid-Century period.  All five are in perfect condition: no chips or cracks.
