This amazing set of authentic 'Venus' tulip chairs is in black, faux leather upholstery on aluminium 'trumpet' bases.  The chairs swivel on the bases.  Originally designed in the 1960's in Sweden by Börje Johanson, the Venus chair provided comfort and style with plenty of free leg-room for the user. 
This set has been manufactured more recently than the 1960's but all chairs bear the original, authentic Johanson label underneath, from Sweden.
I have 8 chairs in total but am selling them in pairs. The price shown is for 1 pair only. 
All the chairs are in remarkably good condition. There are some minimal signs of wear but no tears or rips to the leatherette upholstery.  All are sturdy and stable and labelled with the original Johanson stickers underneath.
