A large and truly spectacular multi-panel mirror features gold leaf surrounds to each panel and dates from the mid-Century period.  It is likely of French origin. This piece is wholly reminiscent of the French artist designer and interior decorator Marc du Plantier, active from 1920's to 1960's and known for his innovative and eclectic approach to furniture design and his use of luxurious materials.  
The mirror has two sets of metal fixings on the back allowing for both vertical and horizontal display.
Excellent condition throughout.  Large and heavy, robust statement piece.
